For additional eye candy and traction pigmented griptape is applied to all 70,2 square centimeters of flat surface area for serious traction in any and all footwear and weather conditions. The whole system sandwiches a sturdy wooden frame that is uniformly stained to match the other outer surfaces and then weather sealed in the same fashion as a premium wooden boat.
